Because the home has a traditional look, we favored the counterpoint of Syd Solomon’s mid-century abstract painting Role of the Eclipse when we focused on the living room art.  And it absolutely makes the memorable statement we sought. The painting conveys a physicality reflective of a coastal region as if responding to the home’s perch above Long Island Sound.
