My clients (new to art collecting) and I explored a variety of subject matter and styles before concluding that they wanted collectible artwork by a contemporary artist in the form of a silkscreen or lithograph.  Above all, the artwork selection needed to convey a feeling of serenity. Even with the descriptive nature of figurative art, the red background and dramatic scale, the woman's face of composure achieves this goal.
